Korea's import liberalization wasn't really a thing yet, so the chances of someone privately importing a Celeste (which wasn't really that desirable or pupular even when it was new) from outside of Korea was really slim. 2. There were many US servicemen who were stationed in S. Korea and many of them imported their own vehicles with them to Korea and the subject vehicle, at least for me, appears to have those big US-spec bumpers.
