1979+ by the bumpers and since it's not possible to see the rear end. The wheels belong to a later car, but it lacks the A-pillar plastic trim of that version. Other GTI missing details are the front spoiler and the headrests. -- Last edit: 2007-11-07 20:48:46 |

The rims are from a later EU Export Version of the GTI (France and Spain) the Mirror is wrong, but its a '81+ Modell (larger backlights) maybe a 1.8L -- Last edit: 2010-06-16 12:12:54 |

Marca: Volkswagen Modelo: Golf Ano: N/A Combustible: DIESEL CC del motor: 1588 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF I (17) 1.6 D (54Cv) VIN (número de bastidor) : WVWZZZ17ZEW072168 Código de motor : JK | CR @Gamer by the VIN this is a 1984 MY and built in Wolfsburg. So one of the very last of these and this VIN confirms that the Golf 1 made it to MY 1984. Seems The latter half of 1983 were actually 1984 MY. This VIN confirms that. |

For the GTI I could assume that, for the regular trims not so much. The Golf II came in August 1983. |

It's not a genuine GTI then, that's why it lacks some specific details reported in the second comment. |
