Full length side trims (they go to the rear, past the petrol cap) plus wooden door cappings would suggest Vitesse, not Herald. Also has aluminium bumper covers, not rubber, and looks like a Vitesse Mk.2 steering wheel. Second pic shows Vitesse numberplate light and trim on boot lid -- Last edit: 2008-01-03 00:27:15 |

I think you're right, 240 Gardner: this is a Vitesse. But as far as I know the two-tone version was only available (in the UK) on the first '1600' series, April 1962 till September 1966. Edit: On the other hand, the chrome trim on the bootlid indicates a Mk.2 indeed: September 1968 - May 1971.
