It's not a Taunus, the back side window is too small and the roof-line too flat. By the way: it's an US-movie. The Taunus/Cortina has not existed in the US. I thought about a Mitsubishi Sapporo, but the shape doesn't fit either. As I know, a 2-door Peugeot 505 was never made So I agree with Wampa-one and say, that it's probably a 1983+ Mazda 626 |

It's a Dodge Challenger, around a '79, which was a re-badged Mitsubishi. |

You can find Sapporo-pics over here, for example in the 2003-archive: http://www.creme21-rallye.de/ One of the organizators of this funny event owns one (a man, who stictly establishes, that it's possible to have sex on the back seat of a Polski Fiat 126).
