Left one looks like a Lancia Thema from this angle... -- Last edit: 2007-10-31 16:15:53 |

Rather like a Ford Granada/Taunus (last-gen), but I believe it is some Japanese car. |

Looks like a 505 for me /vehicle_3251-Peugeot-505-1983.html |

@bref: was there ever existing a 2-door 505? |
◊ 2007-10-31 19:54 |
It's not a Taunus, the back side window is too small and the roof-line too flat. By the way: it's an US-movie. The Taunus/Cortina has not existed in the US. I thought about a Mitsubishi Sapporo, but the shape doesn't fit either. As I know, a 2-door Peugeot 505 was never made So I agree with Wampa-one and say, that it's probably a 1983+ Mazda 626 |

It's a Dodge Challenger, around a '79, which was a re-badged Mitsubishi. |

Douze points -> http://www.cocheantiguo.com/clasificados/images/4674_1022G0OgQI0rDq5H.jpg Aka Plymouth Sapporo, Mitsubishi Sapporo, Chrysler Scorpion, Mitsubishi Galant Lambda and a multitude of other names. Those wheels appeared on Mitsubishi-Sapporo-badged examples for sure, I guess listing it as Sapporo (either Plymouth or Mitsubishi) would help avoid confusion and make finding it easier than among "real" Challengers. -- Last edit: 2007-10-31 20:59:45 |

Ah, Bravada, you're right, it's a Sapporo. I was irritated by the wheels and the impression the the wheels and the missing chrome-trims. A 1978 Sapporo: javascript:fotowin('2003/91G_AUF_ZUR_LETZTEN_ETAPPE.jpg') |

Hrmphh, the link doesn't work. You can find Sapporo-pics over here, for example in the 2003-archive: http://www.creme21-rallye.de/ One of the organizators of this funny event owns one (a man, who stictly establishes, that it's possible to have sex on the back seat of a Polski Fiat 126). (in the 2006-archive you can find a K 70, too -- Last edit: 2007-10-31 21:55:57 |

With wheel design does looks like Plymouth Sapporo. |

O.k., the next point (but one of the oldest) of the discussion heer: where was it built, this Mitsubishi/Plymouth/Chrysler, which orign-country would be correct? |

Let's settle for neutral Finland. |

It is just a rebadged Mitsubishi, no? Was originally designed in Japan I guess. |
