percysludge ◊ 2008-09-08 23:35	Unfair reputation I thought as most cars of that era never lasted above ten years anyway did they?Your average Ford Cortina had rotten wings by the time it was 3 or 4 years old didnt it? Apart from the body problems the drive train was smooth,excellent and long lasting, the interior had a superb finish in the upmarket models. Ironically these Vauxhalls were one of the first production cars to have extensive rust proofing.
