That's exactly what I wasn't thinking - this car has a louvered hood (or so it seems) while a 32 Chevy would have a chambered hood. |

Those are definitely the Chevrolet flaps. At this angle (and quality) they appear together giving the illusion of louvres. If you squint, however, you can make out that they are in fact separate units with trim running along the middle. |
