this is the Canadian Grizzly version..see the G cast in a shield on the front,so its the Canadian version,not an Alco M4A2. |

The G cast on the hull is the foundry mark for General Steel Castings Corporation, PA, not for Grizzly. http://web.inter.nl.net/users/spoelstra/g104/foundry.htm Grizzlys were ones made and used in Canada for Training and there were only a couple of hundred of them made. |

More than likely it is a Grizzly. However, the only way to really confirm it would be to actually inspect the vehicle. If was a Grizzly, you'd find the serial number stamped just into the glacis just above the General Steel foundry logo. |

Having just watched this episode I can confirm this is a Sherman and not a Grizzly. There's a shot where you can see the left drive sprocket and it has 13 teeth, not 17, plus it has rubber track pads and not the CDPs of a Grizzly. |
