Old grille and small lights on top of the front fender make this a 1949. With this grille and the chrome strip reaching upto the lower headlight, therefor it will be a Commander. The chrome stoneguard on the rear fender makes it a Regal version. So 1949 Commander Regal Five Passenger Coupe [16A]. Edit: Instead of 5 pessengers coupe the name Starlight is more common (though I'm not sure if it was used officially). -- Last edit: 2007-10-18 19:40:42 |

Partially correct. This IS a Commander (per grille pattern) but it's a '48, not a '49 per bumpers and lack of massive center grille panel. Regal Deluxe per stainless steel gravel guards. -- Last edit: 2010-02-19 21:08:19 |
