Dodge Cirrus? |

Nope, Avenger |

It's actually a 1996 Chrysler Sebring. The Avenger doesn't have a proper grille above the bumper. |

Filmed in NY, is/was it available there as Chrysler? |

He's right -> Link to "upload.wikimedia.org" (I see no reason why it shouldn't be available as Chrysler in NYC, perhaps Dodge was not available in some markets and I guess the coupe was not available in most non-North-American markets anyway). |

You will not find a Chrysler Neon in the USA... |

Uhh... I live in South Carolina, and I saw a Neon with Chrysler badges and grill... |

The Chrysler branded Neon was never officially sold here in the U.S. Only the Dodge branded Neon was officially sold at U.S. dealerships. Any Chrysler Neons in the U.S. will have come from Canada (likely) or could be an aftermarket home-made rebranding by the owner. |

Coupe came in 1995. Why 1996? |

don't know... maybe back then the user thought it came out at the same time as the convertible.. or it was by plate and was never commented as such.. but i think it might not be necessary to ID as Sebring Coupe as it was the only one available in 1995 ( there was no sedan before 2001 ) and the 1996 convertible is different enough ( and already ID as Convertible) , unlike the 2001+ oddity -- Last edit: 2021-05-25 16:48:06 |
