If you are looking for the red one, it’s a Karrier Bantam or poss. Gamecock. |

Tractor Trailer rather than Simple Truck? -- Last edit: 2019-10-28 19:54:45 |

Yes, these got used in similar roles to the Scammell three wheeled tractors by British Railways. I once had a Saturday job at an engineering firm that had a Bantam as the works truck. One of the blokes had a good West Midlands phrase to describe its performance. “That thing? Wouldn’t pull a greasy mon out of bed.” -- Last edit: 2019-10-28 22:27:24 |

Karrier Bantam the radiator cap is just visible in front of the windscreen, the Gamecock cap was inside the grille. Edit: Also Gamecock [E] was only available as a simple truck (115" and 141" wheelbase) and not a tractor-trailer unit with any data as I can find. An early (split screen) 1953-1959 [F], tractor-trailer unit 4½-Ton normally with an ultra short 76" wheelbase /vehicle_1099513-Karrier-Bantam-FA-1964.html -- Last edit: 2019-10-30 13:00:39 |
