I think it's a rebadged Jaguar but I'm not sure whether it's a XJ6 or a Sovereign. I'd probably fudge it as a generic Jaguar XJ [XJ40] as without knowledge of the vehicle the details are too conflicted.

The Daimler boot badge is the only visible specific Daimler element, and - if I remember old discussions correctly - unlikely in D due to agreements or understandings to avoid upsetting Daimler-Benz. So presumably Daimler-spec XJ40s were Jag-badged with whatever model name Jag Germany added to highlight it was top of the tree (above Sovereign) in D?? And this Daimler badge becomes a bootleg addition, secretly smuggled in??
