s13a ◊ 2019-09-30 19:31	I don't think this is a Toyota at all (OR the Isuzu counterpart), partly because Toyota's version, to my recollection, never had these massive bumpers and the distance between the bumper and the fenders is shorter than on the subject's vehicle in the main picture (notice how headlights sit lower on the Toyota's version comparing to the subject vehicle). But the main reason for my disagreement, it's because given the movie's filming location (that is Japan), I don't think that they would use a LHD version of the FQ truck in Japan when there were plenty of US military surplus trucks still laying around by the early/mid 1960s. My guess is that this is a Dodge WC 51 truck with an unusually tall-looking bed (possibly extended bows?). Plus, I don't think that Mok's second thumbnail is related to the main picture.
