This is a nice car!
I once drove this car as a 'loaner' when my Neon was in maintenance.
After 3 quarters doing 160km/h all kind of lights were blinking at the dashboard...

A friend and me had such a ...(ahem) in 1993 in the USA as a rental car. Once, we've been alone on the highway, we tried to reach its top speen. At 140 km/h was finish. What an impudence by Chrysler to bring such cars on the market.

This kind of dashboard-lightshow I had, too. But this was at a 1985 Pontiac (Le Mans, I think. It was the U.S.equivalent of the Opel Ascona C)
Two hours driving with 150 km/h (in Wisconsin I had no problems with driving a bit faster) have been enough to see all lights at one time. I escaped happily after I brought the car to its owner, because after some minutes the lights were gone. I made "autodriveaway" around the U.S. in 1993, 13 000 km in 20 days.

Well, it's probably better than a Lada, but the Moscow cops must have found it a comedown after the second-hand Crown Victorias ... :/

I have a 1990 Chrysler Saratoga V6:-)
It is the best car ever. 220km/h on the German freeway with no problem ever. This car is designed to be drive. In the city it never jumps on me like most sports cars, it is easy, safe and elegant to drive and if you accelerate the cars respond to you with light speed (and not with noise). You can spin the Saratoga and it will never turn over. I was crossing Germany a few times on the autobahn the other cars couldn't keep the speed for long distance if they passed me (it happened often no speed limits) they had to stop at the next gas station. I never had “blinking dashboard” issue, or shaking window on speed or noise effect. The Saratoga is also fuel efficient comparing to new cars believe it or not. Anyways it looks like I'm very happy with it and I want to keep it for ever. It is not a sport car! And it is not a slow and heavy luxus category it is a bit both and I love to drive it slow or fast.

It is made for EU. The Dodge Spirit was officially sold there during the early 90s as the Chrysler Saratoga and the more well-known Sebring appeared in 1996. The repeaters on the fenders are features not found on the original US-spec Dodge Spirit. The Saratoga-badged variant wasn't even sold in the US. It would be rather stupid to import one privately when it's already officially sold there under a different name. This one's a 1989-93 model.

In Russia usually US vehicles are from private import from USA, not from Europe. ;)

Not in this case.

A bit later than 1989, as the Saratoga had the LeBaron's waterfall grille, initially. It switched to the Spirit grille around 1992.
