These cars are still existing and sometimes for sale (but in the early 90ies their prices were much lower). Unfortunately are some GDR-Volvos nowadays in the hand of idiots, who want to have abnormal prices.

One scene was from a former Stasi-instruction-film about safety-trainings for the drivers of these leaders-cars.
