Isn't it a 'DSuper' sign on the right? |

Could be - all that is clear to me is that it is a pre-1972 non-Pallas looking at the doorhandles and the trim. If the sign indeed says DSpecial/ DSuper (which it looks to be), then the colour is most likely Blanc Meije, which was used in 1970/1, and would fit in with the above. See http://www.nuancierds.fr/AC%20088%20Blanc%20Meije.htm. DynaMike, what do you say? -- Last edit: 2007-09-23 23:57:30 |

I think you are right that the sign on the bootlid says 'DSuper'. The DSpécial would have had the black plastic 'trumpets' for the rear indicators, older models didn't have such a writing there and 'real' DS models had a different sign. Since the picture isn't made by daylight it's not easy to be determinated, but indeed it looks more like Blanc Meije than the warmer Blanc Cygne. Blanc Meije was introduced in 1970 for the 1971 model year. Resuming I'd say it's a 1971 DSuper. (see also: http://lnx.lesds.it/pagine_htm/album_fotografico/loghi_ds.htm ) |

And this one: /vehicle_129094-Citroen-DSuper-1970.html Have you seen it DynaMike? |

It could be the same car, but just without the taxi sign. Both cars have rubber mudguards behind the rear wheels. But I'm not sure about the colour; /vehicle_129094-Citroen-DSuper-1970.html seems to be a bit warmer, like the 1970 Blanc Cygne. Maybe Kees-Jan could help?? |
