That's pretty sad , the truck was listed as 'TAM unknown' and someone without giving any reasons has renamed it. Well it actually happend not for the first time and I already told to not to do this -> /vehicle_119232-unknown.html !!! My English is maybe not perfect, but at least a bit understandable, I think. Anyway I don't care if it is really MD here (though what is the most important they were made under licence by TAM!!!), but as I believe there are some rules on this forum and such naming/renaming without any comments is just a disrespect for me! Same here /vehicle_129072-Magirus-Deutz-Saturn.html The questions were of course completly ignored because someone 'knows better' only was too 'shy' to inform us about it! -- Last edit: 2007-09-24 18:03:24 |

Indeed! Whoever is the culprit, go stand in the corner! No, serious, it is not okay to change brand or model names or even remove images without any comments. Only standard information, like e.g. chassis codes or introduction years, that were often mentioned before and are easily matched may be entered without a comment. |

The body on this one is a FLF 24 - B7 (Flugplatzlöschfahrzeug) produced by Magirus and based on a Magirus-Deutz Mercur 150 A chassis and cabin. I assume that it is not based on a TAM chassis, as import and export duties and simple commercial interests speak against this. Also have I never seen any TAM with these chromed bumper guards. |

Yes that's what I exactly wrote in my first comment about it (on the other page). Btw. Thanks for the accurate identification of these names. |

Will I have to add a log of the changes in addition of the "delete" log? |

Can you tell every time a comment or vehicle listing is deleted? |

I can check in the log who deleted a comment or a car and from a movie, but I do not know what exactly was deleted (I only have IDs, e.g. "G-MANN deleted vehicle 123456 from movie 456789", not "G-MANN deleted a Saab, warning" ). I added that because at a time some comments were disappearing and we did not know if it was an human bug or software bug. -- Last edit: 2007-09-24 22:29:39 |

I've only deleted stuff that was really background and on films that I've done (when I redid Reservoir Dogs, there were a few background image of low quality so I decided to edit them out), I don't tend to venture onto page I've had nothing to do with, I haven't deleted much really (and you only seemed to notice if I deleted a Saab! ). I think once there was cleanup of unidentified vehicles and a few of my pictures got deleted, I don't know who did it, but I didn't mind. -- Last edit: 2007-09-24 22:48:03 |

Hey it was just an example given as a joke, do not take it personally/seriously I never check that log, it is just there in case someone says that something disappeared without reason, so I know if it was deleted by someone or if there was actually a bug on the site) -- Last edit: 2007-09-24 22:43:40 |

I would say it isn't necessary now. For me the most important thing is not to know who is it, I just want, this person to stop doing this, especially that he(they) makes mistakes usually. -- Last edit: 2007-09-25 14:35:41 |
