chris40 ◊ 2007-09-23 22:44	They might have done, although I don't remember seeing any in what was then Yugoslavia in the 70s; they all had TAM badges. I wonder if this one was imported as a completely finished fire engine, as fire engines were always something of a Magirus-Deutz speciality.
Alexander ◊ 2007-09-24 19:27	The hydraulic platform was made by WUMAG of Krefeld, Germany, called 'Gelenkmast Simon SS 85' and the fire services name was GMB 26 (Gelenkmastbühne, 26 m). The base vehicle is a Magirus-Deutz 200 D 19 from 1971. Planet names were no longer used at that time. While the engine size could vary (but not very likely) the year is defined by the lights in the bumper. Up until early 1971 single lights above the bumper were used, and in early 1972 the next generation hooded Magirus arrived. This type is very rare, indeed.
