Since it seems to have a vertically positioned numberplate, I would say it's a 1967 model year car. |

I agree, this and another one from this movie can be a 1200J. Only the year doesn't fit to this info of rpcm, /vehicle.php?id=126473 (1973-76). |

Weasel, I'm sorry, but when I suggested 1200J for both of these VWs I didn't have the info rpcm evidently found later. They had better be left as 1200. In any case the 1973-6 models had '1200J' on the engine cover. -- Last edit: 2007-12-06 22:49:52 |

I've asked about it just for confirmation because, as we can see, there were a lot of them in Yugoslavia even before 1973. But as I've just checked, VW's in TAS plant were made since 1972. -- Last edit: 2007-12-06 23:33:35 |

One of the sources I checked also mentioned 1972, but I saw 1973 in more sources ( like the one on the link ). Yes, I have nothing to the year 1973. .gif ";)") Was it exactly in 1972 or '73 is not important for me, it was probably like you said.
