pilou ◊ 2005-11-10 09:30	This is a Chrysler C-66 Crown Imperial Limousine of 1954 on the 145.5 inch wheelbase chassis.Only about 100 of these beautifull but heavy models ( about 5300 pounds) were built as limousines or 8 passenger sedans.One unit finished by Ghia found its way to the city of Vatican where it was used by pope Pius XII. All Crown Imperials of 1954 were equipped with air conditioning.The Indian summer atmosphere of the Vermont and the old gasoline pump here are superb. It appears more and more that many of these long wheelbase Chrysler Imperials and Imperials which were always very limited production cars were used in movies. Nice historical documents!
