A hearse with no name. I say it's an Austin FL1. And now I wait for the waves of laughter. And once we all agreed it's something completely different, I will try to find out who did the coachwork. |

Yes, I know: 4 x Startins, the "too blurry to be far away" one and the Charlesworth. They're all not the one above (maybe except for the one from Blurrington). "RGE 548" is also listed as Startins in my archives, but I no longer trust my judgement from 2004. I *think* we have a Woodall Nicholson here, but I'm playing for time. Oh, I'm almost sure this is RGE 548! (I didn't make that clear in my first post) But I still can't decide what coachbuilder made the conversion... By the way: It's not a sunroof, just a leather pad on the roof. |

@the sad biker While I sincerely hope this will only be of interest in the very distant future, I'm sure Rev. Paul Sinclair and his team definitely have no feckin' Volvos in their fleet: http://motorcyclefunerals.com I'm not kidding here! We recently lost a fellow hearse enthusiast and the German equivalent https://www.jg-motorradbestattungen.de would have been an option, but they managed to drive him home with his own Miller-Meteor Cadillac instead. |
