How do you exclude 40-42?

Good point. Now do you have any idea of what it is? I am thinking Mopar

Mopar is very obvious. Wheelarches exclude anything from 1940-1941. Short wheelbase and Canadian location would mean either Plymouth or a Canadian Dodge De Luxe (AKA Kingsway) - De Soto Diplomat is exluded as it was only made for export. Additional thumbs are appreciated, especially of the front and the rear.

FWIW, post-WWII Dodge had rounded trunk lid corners (with curved water channels from the roof). Subject vehicle design matches Plymouth.

Canadian Dodge Kingsway / De Luxe used Plymouth bodies, however, so the distinction point doesn't apply in this case.

This episode was filmed in Cuba, if that helps to figure out the car model.

Well, in that case it can be either a Plymouth De Luxe / Special De Luxe, a Dodge Kingsway or a De Soto Diplomat.
