pilou ◊ 2007-09-18 14:20	This appears to be one of the very early SS Jaguar 2 1/2 litre sport saloons ca 1936 on a presentation to dealers or to the automobile press .Oddly enough it has front hinged rear doors opening in the " safe "direction rather than the rear" suicide "doors seen on all saloon cars untill 1950 when the Jaguar Mark V again reverted to the front hinged rear doors.
pilou ◊ 2007-09-19 10:06	Found more information here. It is as indicated a presentation of the S.S. Jaguar 21/2 sports saloon , the very first shown to the public.The setting is the Mayfair Hotel in London and the date is september 1935 , but it is generally considered as a 1936 model year.
