It would be nice to add this movie “Innocent Sinners” to imcdb noting that it features Bentley Mark VI HJ Mulliner Sports Saloon. The car is chassis #B250DA with License DRS150. I have owned the car for several years and was excited to find out about the movie from friends at this year’s Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club (RREC) meet. The movie is from 1958 and was filmed on location in Chelsea London England and at Pinewood Studios.

https://www.bentleyspotting.com/2016/11/bentley-barn-find.html , https://car-from-uk.com/sale.php?id=196219 , originally UK-supplied, has lived in US since 1970 so no plate record found. DRS 150 was issued Aberdeen Sept 49 onwards.

B250DA was originally supplied in Jan 1949 to Eli Higham, of Highams Ltd, HJM body no. 4836, and first registered KLE781.

Body design HJM 7059/C.

Engine no B125D.

There is a possibility that this Eli may be a Lancashire cotton baron, but the only certain record I have found from a quick look died in 1896.
It may, however, be a starting point.
