A rare car - according to the Standard Catalog of American Cars, the cabriolet was only made in the lower priced Master series - production amounted to only 1724 ( total 1937 Chev output 825,000). Also according to the Catalog, the cabriolet had the Master Deluxe style bumper guards and this car had the optional front fender marker lamps, fog lamps and license plate frames and also looks as if it may have fender skirts.
pilou ◊ 2007-09-01 14:11	Very nice sample here.One of the reasons that the cabriolet was only made in the lower priced Master series was that it retained the straight axle rather than the brand new independent knee action suspension , probably for stiffness reasons.However the trim was like the Master DeLuxe sadans.
