dam what a blast to drive, when that boost light comes on get ready to be thrown back hard into your seat... i had an 87, but basicly the same. love that sound of the turbo spooling up. and all that power from a pushrod 3.8L v6. i also had an 82 T-type Regal turbo but that car was a turd and hated it, it always had boost issues for some reason. probably cause it was carbeurated but who knows. always wanted the gnx though cause it was modified by McClaren and had the highest horsepower of all the turbos buick made. the gnx's had no emblems on the hood or fenders, but did have a small gnX emblem on the front grill, so thats how you can tell them apart easily. |

I have a recent article from August 2012 Collectible Automobile containing 1982-87 Buick Grand National and GNX. I found one picture containing matching grille style which it belongs to the 1985 model year. Comments are welcome |
