dsl ◊ 2019-01-25 14:11	130rapid a écrit Chassis code [R1338] because every Australian 1977+ R12/Virage had 1.4-litre engine. If I understand these Aus 12s correctly, the first series was always called 12, with renaming as Virage for 1978+ S2 facelift.

The badge on our car looks clearly like the typical 'RENAULT 12' single piece badge which was likely the initial name in Australia as dsl suggested. I think the 1.4 Litre should stay but in the extra field. Unless there is a source showing that badge instead of '12' with a similar shape? 130rapid ◊ 2019-01-26 16:35	Actually here we've older 1974-1976 TS wagon car, with 1977 plate. Please note the bumper: it's Serie 1 type. Also the side profile of front part fits with Serie 1 more likely. It's too high for Serie 2. And that's answer why we have 'RENUALT-12' badge here. -- Last edit: 2019-01-26 16:39:48
