Well , this truck(under the fictional model name "Dreamer" , made by the fictional brand "Hope"(a hint of the IRL brand Fuso)),is the reason why there is even a plot exist. The original Japanese title(which translet to "the wheel that fly in the sky" and the English title Recall.....were selected for a reason.....and this truck(or at least it's left front wheel hub) is that reason. So ,yes ,even this turck was used in only few scenes in begining , but it's the plot itself.
