I'm pretty sure that is a 1946 Ford Business Coupe.

:) I doubt it, I'm not so good on pre-war cars, unfortunately!

On this one, "Ford Business Coupe" is its correct model name, not "Ford Business".

This is not a Ford "Business Coupe" but a Ford " Sedan Coupe"The " Business Coupes "seated three and had a long rear deck, whilst the " Sedan Coupes" seated five and had a shorter rear deck. The two-door sedan coupes were a popular body style available as "Super De Luxe "execution only. The picture is rather obscure , but apparently the car has the parking lights under the headlights , full chrome strips and hood badge identifying it as a 1947 or early 1948 model ( series designation 79A or 89A with the V8 engine or 7HA or 8HA with the six cylinder engine)

I left the experts settle on it...

Pilou is right. I can see the rear seats now! Sedan Coupe it is then...

As for it being a 1947 model, I'll take his word for it. He obviously knows his old Fords. :)
