pilou ◊ 2007-08-07 13:26	This is indeed a 1965 AMC Rambler Ambassador Station Wagon, but it is a top of the line 990 , not 880. Top line Ambassador Wagons were 990's as were the sedans( model designation 6588-5)

alaskan ◊ 2007-11-03 17:46	It is a 990 just like my old great Ambassador. If a better shot of the grill was available I could tell for sure if it was a 1965 or 1966. The two years were identical except for the grill and taillights. Beautiful car, mine was Black with the optional wood trim.
