Made for Spain due the "90"-sticker. The engine is curbed. or even "made for Canary Islands? A time ago there was a story in my classic car magazine about such a vehicle (a Mercedes W110 Pickup? I cannot remember right now), were it was written, that these curbed commercial vehicles were unique intended for the Canary Islands. |

IIRC the Canary Islands had duty free status, so cars kept out of the mainland Spanish market by import tariffs were sold in the Canaries. |

I know, but these 90 km/h-commercial vehicles aren't in a coherence with the duty free status of the Canaries. It's something about the drivers licence class or the vehicle taxation. -- Last edit: 2018-11-28 15:20:39 |
