dsl ◊ 2018-10-17 12:52	Seems Devon-based Countryman launched Sept 48 as GP2, new grille treatment May 51 GP3, Aug 51 became GP4 with column change and full hydraulic brakes, Oct 54 became GP5 (no details of changes), Oct 56 discontinued. I think this is first grille GP2.

dsl ◊ 2018-10-17 14:42	Unexpected legs caused what I thought was long rear overhang Side windows look normal - eg http://www.austinmemories.com/styled-33/styled-36/files/page37_13.jpg - with vertical slider in the front one. Split tailgate matches 1950 brochure although googling for pictures shows some Countrymen with vertical doors as well - 1953 example - (unless they're windowed vans) so maybe it changed to van format for simplicity during production.
