RAC: OMEGA MV6 3.0 |

The good old Omega, the last of a dying breed of large British executive cars (I know technically it's German but since it wears the Vauxhall badge I like to think of it as British). Now it's been "replaced" by the weird Signum, a car you couldn't understand anyone wanting to buy, it's just a slightly bigger hatchback version of the Vectra. -- Last edit: 2007-07-31 15:04:52 |

do you know which British factory built this one? |

Omegas were built in Russelsheim Germany, then they made it RHD and put on Vauxhall badges and grille for the UK market. It's funny when people say Vauxhalls are inferior to the German cars like Mercedes, BMW, Audi and Volkswagen, but most of them are actually built in Germany. |

Well, Opels are inferior to other German makes |

possibly, although they are priced very different to the 'other'... |

Why is that? What I meant I also meant is that being German seems to be seen as part of what what makes Mercs, BMWs, Audis and Porsches great. -- Last edit: 2007-08-01 13:09:59 |
