johnfromstaffs ◊ 2018-10-15 20:30	I went for the Zephyr models because I thought the six cylinder engine would be more attractive to that market than the rather weedy 1508cc four, and the wheeltrims. If imported, the convertible conversion was done by Carbodies.
nzcarnerd ◊ 2018-10-16 00:08	I suppose we will never been certain until we get a view of the front half of the car and see the extra length of the front of the Zephyr.
dsl ◊ 2018-10-16 00:27	As far as I can tell, all Mk2 Convertibles were only built in UK by Carbodies, so although there was Mk2 Z assembly in Aus (including their own estate different from UK body), this would be an import. No idea if period or recent arrival, but I doubt if a weedy Consul would excite Aus enough, so voting Zephyr.
