Still searching but it looks most likely to be a Sunbeam or possibly a Humber about 1930 to 1934.

It appears that the headlight mounting bar goes behind the grill. The 1933-1935 Humber Snipe seem to have the same configuration. Check http://www.humberonia.freeserve.co.uk/Humber%20Gallery.html and scroll down to 1933/1935

Quote Still ... or possibly a Humber about 1930 to 1934.

the shape of the wings looks very similar, but not the grill , neither the positions of headlight, nor the body of course!
Humber could be a lead?

I'm as confused as anyone I think. The grill design looks quite early 1925-1930 but it's postion forward of the headlamp bar looks to be a much later design, 1933-1935 as stated.

Either it's a model we can't yet identify or maybe it's a one-off or re-build where the bonnet was lengthened and the grill was repositioned.

Result!!!

G 190 is registered as a Sunbeam, engine size 3445cc first registered 26 06 1935.

Model is not shown on vehicle licensing on-line database.

That makes it a Sunbeam Twenty-Five.

I agree with Sunbeam 25 - looks right if the shaped headlamp bar was replaced with a straight bar.

The windscreen shape etc. all looks right for a 25.

Definately a Sunbeam 25 of 1935--too big for a 20. The headlamp bar is not too significant. This is not a standard body style and such items would be changed to suit the wings if necessary. The car behind is a fine Wolseley 21/60 of 1934 and behind that an older Rolls Royce 20/25 of about 1931.

JW 737 is a 1931 Sunbeam 20hp[23.8] Six-light Saloon with Chassis Number 7080P erected on 14 September 1931. Might be observed near Chester.
The blue triangular badge on the bar is from the Sunbeam Talbot Darracq Register. Definately NOT a Humber.
G 190 is a 1935 Sunbeam Sports 25 Tourer with Chassis Number 2524T and might be observed in Warwickshire.
