Alexander ◊ 2005-10-21 19:47	The Mk.VI and older models had a shorter boot. The Mk.VII Minx came onto the market in October 1953, followed by the Mk.VIII in Oktober 1954. This car could be either Mk.VII or Mk.VIII -- therefore I opt for the earlier version.
pilou ◊ 2005-10-26 10:27	Same remark as for the Californian agreeing with Alexander.This is a Minx Mk VII built between october 1953 and october 1954 thus of model year 1954 .The Mk VI with the shorter trunk and the same grille was considered a model year 1953.
