Not easy to tell, but after looking through some pics from google I Guess it´s a 1976 or 1977 280Z. |

Anyone else notice it resembles the "Thorndike Special" from the original movie "The Love Bug" |

This is a 75/76 Datsun 280z The turn-signals in the grille and the larger bumpers are a dead giveaway. |

KDMatt is correct, the grill marker lights and large bumper indicat ethat it's a 1974.5 260Z or 1975 and later 280Z. There was no such vechile as a 1975 240Z. |

At qwerty: It does and it helps to know that the Apollo was inspired by the Jaguar E-type while the early Z-cars were (as with many Japanese cars at the time) cheap copys of the E-type. |

Though rather an unfortunate situation to see a 280Z participating in a demolition derby. Hoping these 15 or so years haven't been too harsh on her, unlike the poor 'Cuda and others... |

sadly there is not much of " that poor thing shouldn't be here, we'll spare it " feeling in a demolition derby.. |
