3rd Generation Econoline cutaway van. And that chassis is clearly an aftermarket replacement. |

I was shocked to read this in the Ford brochures but back then there were SRW (single rear wheel) [E-250] models that existed. Here is the brochure and go to the back page and look at the breakdown. The 1977 brochure is the easiest to read out of the three I linked. 1975: https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/75eco/75eco.html 1976: https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/76fcv/76fcv.html 1977: https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/77eco/77eco.html Those wheel covers appear to be the [E-250] versus the bulky [E-350] ones but I am not 100% sure right now. |

The 1977 brochure states that both the [E-250] & [E-350] were sold as SRW cutaways. The pictures on the last page of the brochure break down all the different chassis configurations. The [E-250] & [E-350] parcel vans also existed. Basically in 1977 the [E-250] could be: 1. Regular van. 2. SRW cutaway. - 138 wb only 3. SRW Parcel Delivery Van(box truck) - 138 wb only Basically in 1977 the [E-350] could be: 1. Regular van 2. SRW cutaway. - 138 wb only. 3. DRW cutaway. - came in 138 & 158 wb. 4. DRW Parcel Delviery Van(box truck) - came in 158 or 138 wb. I hope that makes sense and clears it up for everyone.
