DynaMike ◊ 2007-07-21 12:25	It does resemble a Mercury, but the side trim is different. In fact it is a 1952 Lincoln Capri [73B]. The 1953 model was almost the same, but it had a different hood emblem. The writing on the rear door is too short for 'Cosmopolitan'.

Yes, this particular car is really lincoln capri model and year hit the spot-on ... car is now owned by me.. but the condition of the car is not yet as good as a movie...
