Curiously, only the cars produced between July and December 1956 were officially called "America" and were not Spider, but Convertibile ( they didn't have this windscreen but the more conventional one and also doors with quarterlights ).

This is one of the 181 left-hand drive [B24S] Spiders produced between the end of December 1954 and October 1955.
