This scene was an reenactment of the attempted attack of Katherine Johns and her 10 month old daughter who were both picked up by Zodiac from the side of Highway 132 near Modesto, California on the night of the 22nd March 1970. In her statement to the local police at Patterson in Stanislaus County, Johns said that Zodiac had offered to take her and her baby to a petrol station after her car's right rear wheel came off, but after passing several service stations, he drove with Johns and her baby for 90 minutes along the backroads near Tracy in San Joaquin County. When the Zodiac stopped his car at an intersection, Johns with her baby made their escape where they were picked up by a passing motorist. Johns' car was later found burnt out. -- Last edit: 2021-11-15 06:45:39 |
