Shouldn't it be a "1927" Ford? ![]() |

The appearence is of course more "1927", but it´s homemade on some Ford base. Probably built 1967 since it´s given that year. Regnr: FHA245 Fabrikat: FORD BUCKET PICK UP Årsmodell: 1967 Fordonsstatus: I trafik (1997-05-14) I trafik första gången i Sverige: 1970-07-14 |

I would list it under 'Custom Made', not under 'Ford', certainly not with this model name. |

It is a Ford chassis, otherwise it wouldn´t have been allowed to register under the Ford brand. Probably some Ford V8 chassi, but that´s hard to tell. I would guess that the body is some plastic kit from the sixties, maybe even sold under that name? I think it´s ok to keep it as a Ford under the category Custom. |

This one was built by Peder Landberg in the 60s, on a new frame and with a fiberglass body (that is a replica of a 1923 Ford Model T), and because of that registered as a 1967 model. |

The car was built in the 60'ies and was driven for the first time in 1968. It was built on a model A frame with a 1922 model T body. You can tell the difference from a '23 by the windshieldposts. The engine was a 1957 Ford Thunderbird engine and it had a Ford gearbox and a Ford rear end, thus the name Ford. It had three Stromberg deuces on an Edelbrock intake manifold, Manley camshaft and Scintilla magneto. It ran the quarters in the 13-second bracket. There were no amateurbuilt cars at that time in Sweden so this was "put together by different Ford parts". Today, 2008, the truck is candymaroon, has a Chev. 327 smallblock, a 5-speed gearbox and Jaguar rear end. I have driven this little pick-up truck every summer since 1968.
