My English edition of Adventure in Australia refers to her as Seccotine... She had a Vespa in "The Nest in the Rainforest". -- Last edit: 2018-07-30 19:40:34 |

Both The Rhinoceros' Horn (ISBN 978-1-84918-224-9) The Dictator and the Mushroom (ISBN 978-1-84918-267-6) refer to her as Cellophine. Adventure in Australia was the first one to be translated into English, so they probably left it that way. It was the same with the first Norwegian translation of Gaston, where Prunelle and Mesmaeker are called Blomme and Potter (from the Danish version) - changed to Plommesen and Parker for all subsequent translations. |

Hm, in Germany they were Demel and Bruchmüller from the start - even in the translations not published by Carlsen. Did they ever give Leblanc's love interest a name? In Germany everyone just said 'you' to her. -- Last edit: 2018-07-30 23:31:26 |
