Lateef ◊ 2021-12-03 21:00	The plate(s) have been handed in to Biltilsynet - the Norwegian equivalent of the DMV at the time. Either the owner handed them in himself/herself, or neglected to put a year-sticker on the plate (practice abolished since 2012), resulting in the forfeiture of the plates. And no, if the police are notified about a vehicle parked on a public road without a plate, you'll get a two-week notice to relocate it before they tow it.
