When I had been at the Eifel Klassik 1996 (when I got autographs from Stirling Moss and Walter Röhrl on my driving license ), there was a rich moron, who let his young, ca.20-year-old son drive a round on the Nordschleife with such a Veritas - and the boy smashed it -- Last edit: 2018-05-18 22:10:24 |

Let me guess: It was insured by the company you're working for, right? -- Last edit: 2018-06-17 20:29:49 |

Fortunately not. I was just a witness. Now my company never had classic car insurances, but it recently has bought annother company, who offers them. Over 20 years ago I was a customer there, with my NSU 1200, but when I changed the contract for some Rabattschaukelei, it became grotesquely overpriced, that I ran away and never came back. P.S. My company avoids to insure high-priced cars. Back, when the Ferrari F40 was brand new, we have insured 3 of the 7 F40 with German registration. Two of them were destroyed by the overchallenged drivers after a short time. This has hurt a lot and has destroyed the results, so the decision was strict: no expensive, exclusive cars. Not even a Golf GTI. Not even for employees. -- Last edit: 2018-05-22 01:36:42 |

Sell me insurance for a Saab 900 Bj.1998 (2.0 96kw) What's your best offer? Now at 323 euro (P&V), before that Generali at a whopping 419. |

Sorry, but in 27 years working in an insurance company I've never ever sold any single contract. It's nothing for me. I decide about the money, which has to go out. I don't bother about the money, which has to come in |

Ok, it would have been just for comparison. Zero accident history. |
