I think this is the 'Los Alamos Limo', a 1941 Packard Clipper stretched by Fitzjohn and used to shuttle Manhattan Project Scientists between the train station, Los Alamos, and other locations. It's been restored and currently resides in the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. I retract my prior ID. I think somename's got it right, based on the front fender and the number of windows. The Nuclear Museum has this picture on their Flickr ID'd as the Packard, but a commenter there has pointed out details more consistent with GM than with Packard: https://www.flickr.com/photos/atomicmuseum/2753767423 ![]() |
