This is the newer one (even if doesn't look like something new) 1998 or 1999. |

I regurgitate why are all these Polish spec models defaulted as Polish built when there is clear evidence imports were prevalent prior to domestic assembly? |

Well, Tico in Poland had two phases: 1993-1995/6 as private import from Korea (korean market PM/DX versions) - about 20 000 cars in total. Next phase is since summer 1996 as Daewoo-FSO - produced in Korea (pure for polish order), imported in parts (separated body+interior, wheels, engine) to Poland and then assembled to 'working cars' in Daewoo-FSO. Yes, popular "SX" version (1996-2001). - 126 000 cars in total. BTW. if you want, here you can see me (blue cloth) and find fully long history of Tico (I added a lot of photos in this video). Lang is polish, but can use translated text Enjoy ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sV2i1QG3Hzg So Tico was assembled in Poland (Daewoo-FSO), but never produced (vin is KL... always). The same for: Nexia*, Lanos 3-door, Espero, Nubira I, Leganza and Tacuma. Early Matiz I, Lanos and Nubira II cars were from Korea too. We produced only: Matiz I (SUPM), Lanos 5-door/sedan (SUPT) and Nubira II sedan/kombi (SUPJ). *as Daewoo Motor Poland, no Daewoo-FSO |
