DJ 8877 was St Helens, but issued 1961 so there's some witchcraft afoot.

I'm guessing by the general appearance L740 series; L744 or L746 7-ton 4-wheeler 4 or 6 cylinder Light truck.

1935 or just pre-war? Say 1939-1947.

Correction - DJ 8877 was St Helens, issued 1940 (I'd misread a table across a page split).

Let's say L746 as it has a load and a trailer.

True. For me the main emphasis is on the word 'guessing' where Atkinsons are concerned, forget the rest!

You just need some notes in your anorak pocket and they can usually be identified ;)
