Following the dating of the truck here /vehicle_148892-Bedford-D-Type-1958.html I now believe this is a D Type (A Type with GM sourced engines) probably 5-tons or more. |

this is the bedford A5. as far as i know the D type was lunched in 1958 and they made some small changes in the cabine. But the bedford showing here is an A5 model. I'm saying this cause i just bought 1 and that's the info that i have |

The front end styling is for the D type (TD) normal control 4, 5 or 6 ton truck introduced February 1957 alongside the C type (TC) forward control.
