bob dieck ◊ 2018-02-07 10:37	Although this car is identical to 1956+ 220S (exception to chrome strip on front fenders, quarter window frame) the correct model name is 220a , chassis W 180 I, from 06.1954 to 04.1956. Model 220 S came after with chassis W 180 II. Probably the suffix S came to make bigger difference to 219, which was sold from 03.1956.
