Why 1971? Since when mudflaps were mandatory in CS (if they were)? |

I'd say the oilpan protection 'sled' is visible. |

True it is there, but it was added in 1969 according to Z. Podbielski and Fiat125p.pl. From more visible things since 1971 rear mudflaps started to be part of standard equipment to meet modified Polish regulations, but whether they placed them also on export, when there wasn't such need, I don't know. EDIT: Took one more look on Podbielski's book, there is something not mentioned in Fiat125p.pl history chapter. In model 1972 front seat belts and fixing points for seat belts for all passengers have been added, BUT again it could be change required by our law, abroad they maybe were avaiable earlier or later. This car has seat belts... -- Last edit: 2018-01-11 19:31:23 |
